My client is one of the marekt leaders in the manufacturing industry with a strong global presence; over 300 plants in more than 40 countries. The Role: Production Manager Demonstrate a commitment to an integrated approach to OHSE activities. Support the culture of zero accidents within the Plant and create a common shared direction and language ensuring common standards, training, review processes and measurement Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations. Plans production operations, establishing priorities and set up sequences for manufacturing products in light of demands and unforeseen circumstances. Enforce Continuous Improvement and OHSE Reviews operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products. Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure less costs and prevent delays. Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimate utilisation. Develops standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards. Evaluate peoples performance at least once a year. Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data. Manage all work to ensure product quality and continual improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor degree or equivalent years of related experience. Experienced in gravure printing with a thorough knowledge of production. Experience in leading teams. Ability to analyse and solve practical problems and lead improvement teams. Good PC skills.
